Skinning Your Trophies
For shoulder mounts, make a cut around the entire body behind the front legs. Make a second cut from between the ears, down the center of the back of the neck to join the cut around the body. Pull the skin up to the head, and disjoint the skull from the neck meat. Keep the head cool and bring it in as soon as possible.

Creating Rugs
For rugs, skin as shown in the diagram. Disjoint the skull from the neck bone and all four feet at wrists and ankles. Be sure to cut on the inside of the wrist and arm, so the top of the rug isn't cut.
For large, full mounts, call us for additional options on skinning. On small game, birds and fish, wrap the bodies in plastic without any cuts and freeze until you can bring them in. Prices are net, F O B Albuquerque. All tanning are accepted at owner's risk.
